Information we collect

How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Spotlight: Supabase for accounts and database storage, and Cloudflare for hosting, security and email delivery. They process data only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or the site.

Business display names are intended to be shown publicly. Your private business name, email address and password are not shown to other users.

Cookies and storage

Spotlight uses your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

Retention and security

We keep account information while your account is active and delete it when you ask us to, unless we must keep something for legal or safety reasons. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security.

Children

Spotlight is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above, and for significant changes we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.
